Technologies
VAXX’s programs are supported by a collection of enabling technologies that the company has in-licensed and accessed through alliances and contracts with external service organizations. These arrangements secure freedom to operate for VAXX in all its major business areas.
These technologies include various vaccine designs, including virus-like particle antigen compositions, plant-based gene expression and downstream purification, and formulation and delivery systems.
VAXX’s first product in development is produced through a transient plant-viral expression technology using Nicotiana host plants (relatives of tobacco), to yield virus-like particles that induce immunity against norovirus types, including Norwalk Virus human pathogenic strains and related virus genotypes.
